SCADA Data Manager - UK
UK BASED (Kings Langley)
RES is operating a large number of wind farms in the UK and world wide, and the collection and management of turbine operational data (SCADA data) is crucial to carry out performance analysis with regard to technical, engineering and operational aspects. To manage RES’ wind farm operational data we wish to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team.
Applications are invited from new graduates or professionals.
Duties will include:
The download of Wind Farm performance data and into RES’ SCADA database;
Overall management of the data download and input procedure and ensuring the database is consistent and up-to-date;
Initial quality assurance checks on the data and the reporting of irregularities;
Close Liaison with the world-wide Operation & Maintenance teams as well as users of the data in the Technical and Engineering department;
Carrying out some technical analysis of the operational data.
The following is essential:
Computer literacy, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office components especially Excel and proprietary database packages, eg Microsoft Access;
The right candidate needs to be able to work diligently and take on full responsibility for managing the download and input of the data;
Eligible to work in the UK;
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
