BWEA 30: 21-23 October 2008, ExCel London
Over 2,000 people will attend BWEA30, the UK's leading renewable energy event, sponsored by RES, to be held 21-23 October 2008 at ExCel London. This, BWEA's 30th anniversary conference and exhibition, will be held in the North Halls at ExCel, and numerous accompanying social and networking events will take place in London, to enable delegates to relax and meet on a more informal basis.

Energy forum
Norway is playing host to the Scandinavian Renewable Energy Forum (Scan-REF), which will see some 50 speakers and 100 exhibitors gather in Lillestrøm this October. The Norwegian Prime Minister will give the opening speech on 1 October and will be joined by the country’s Minister of Petroleum and Energy as well as environment and energy ministers from Denmark, Sweden and Germany.
The forum, organised by ABG Sundal Collier, DnB NOR Markets and Norway Trade Fairs, will primarily focus on solar, wind and wave energy, bioenergy and other renewable energy sources.”In addition to traditional industries such as seafood and shipping, DnB NOR focuses strongly on renewable energy in international markets. Thus, we are looking forward to seeing the most prominent participants in this field here in Norway,” says Rune Bjerke, DnB NOR’s group chief executive. “Our objective is to make Scan-REF an important, annual meeting place for leading international players within the renewable energy field, encompassing the manufacturing and financial sectors as well as research and political actors.”
