Offshore Wind Farm Operations & Maintenance Excellence Conference 2010
8-9 September, London
The European offshore wind industry is set to boom. One of the great factors that could cause Europe to miss its ambitious growth plans, though, is a lack of clarity on operational and maintenance (O&M) requirements and costs.
Most offshore wind farms to date have faced unexpected maintenance demands and seen costs rise sharply, to a level that would significantly delay or prevent new projects being profitable. For investors, it makes offshore wind an unattractive risk and for developers it damages the business case significantly. What can we learn from the experiences of current wind farms, and what can be done to keep O&M costs low in future? Find out at the Offshore Wind Farm Operations & Maintenance conference dedicated to this vital issue.
