RML Group, the UK-based high-performance automotive engineering specialist, has unveiled several new additions to its VarEVolt battery range, developed to meet the increasingly diverse requirements of performance hybrid and BEV applications.
Drawing on battery development expertise gained through programmes in the hypercar, motorsport and high-performance vehicle sectors, the expanded VarEVolt portfolio has been engineered to deliver a range of power and energy characteristics tailored to specific vehicle use cases. The new modules combine advanced thermal management, optimised cell packaging and scalable architecture to support applications ranging from track-focused hybrid systems to road-going performance vehicles.
With established links to several of the world’s cell suppliers, RML can fit different cells to each of these modules, thereby fine-tuning the power and energy. Similarly, the cell configuration can be altered to suit the application’s exact voltage and energy needs.
The expanded VarEVolt range has been designed around commercially available cell technologies, enabling manufacturers to benefit from established supply chains while accessing battery systems developed using RML’s expertise in thermal management, packaging and performance optimisation.
